Our mission is to support and empower journalists by providing professional, social, and welfare assistance. Through collaboration with public institutions, security agencies, and the community, we aim to ensure a safe working environment, promote ethical journalism, and strengthen the role of media in transparency, accountability, and national development.

Why All Media Unity of Pakistan Was Founded

All Media Unity of Pakistan (AMUP) was founded by Chairman Abid Hussain Goraya with the vision of creating a strong and united platform for journalists across Pakistan. Observing the challenges faced by media professionals—such as lack of support, protection, and recognition—he established AMUP to safeguard the rights, dignity, and well-being of journalists and their families. The organization aims to empower journalists to work freely, fearlessly, and independently while promoting ethical and responsible journalism. AMUP also focuses on providing financial, medical, and social welfare support, including educational assistance for journalists’ children, hospital facilities, and social security initiatives. Through unity, collaboration, and professional development programs, AMUP strives to build a supportive media community where journalists are respected, protected, and able to serve the nation with integrity, courage, and truth.
